NABCEP Announces Departure of Executive Director
The Board of Directors the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is saddened to announce the upcoming departure of it's Executive Director, Pete Sheehan. Pete has resigned his post to help his new son, Corey adjust to life in Albany. Pete be will leaving our organization effective May 22,2007. In a statement issued by Mr. Sheehan he says, "I thank the Board for the privilege of representing NABCEP for these last four years and for the opportunity to work with our certificants, the technical committees and all those who have supported NABCEP's mission. It has been a pleasure and honor to work with such an outstanding group of committed professionals. I look forward to resuming work in the renewable energy field."

Siemens Receives Order for 108 MW Offshore Wind Farm in Britain
For the Gunfleet Sands project, the Siemens Power Generation Group (PG) will build a wind farm off the east coast of England, supplying 30 wind power systems with a combined capacity of 108 megawatts (MW).

AMSC Announces Order for Wind Farm on PEI, Canada
