PSCW Establishes Parameters for Cedar Ridge Wind Farm
Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WP&L), a subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corporation, received an oral decision from the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) on its application for fixed financial parameters and advance rate-making principles for its proposed Cedar Ridge Wind Farm.

Hemlock Semiconductor Grows Polysilicon Operations
Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation, manufacturer of polycrystalline silicon, will invest up to $1 billion over the next four years to increase by 90 percent its total annual output of polycrystalline silicon at its Hemlock, Michigan, facility.

A Step Toward "Cleaning and Greening" Richmond
MSH Properties has completed installation of a 97.2 kilowatt solar photovoltaic system to provide electricity for the Richmond Cooperative, a mixed live / work property on 1st Street in Richmond, California. It is one of the largest solar projects in this city, and the first solar-powered live / work project. Richmond is actively promoting solar power through the non-profit Solar Richmond program, with a goal of 5 megawatts of solar energy to be installed by 2010.
