Evergreen Solar Announces Public Offering of Common Stock
Evergreen Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESLR), a manufacturer of solar power products with its proprietary, low-cost String Ribbon? wafer technology, today announced that it has filed a preliminary prospectus supplement to its existing shelf registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to an underwritten public offering of 15,000,000 shares of its common stock. The underwriters will also have a 30-day option to purchase up to 2,250,000 additional shares of common stock from the Company in the event the underwriters sell more than 15,000,000 shares in the offering.
