First Electricity Purchase Agreement under Project 100 Signed
The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF), a ratepayer fund administered by Connecticut Innovations Inc. (CI), a quasi-public state authority, today announced that the first long-term electricity purchase agreement (EPA) for Class 1 renewable energy under Project 100 has been completed - a 15-year EPA for the purchase of clean energy from a facility with 15 megawatts of production capacity. The EPA was executed by The Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P), the purchaser of clean electricity, and GDI Renewable Power - Watertown, LLC, the renewable energy producer and seller.
