Akeena Solar Expands Into New Corporate Headquarters
Akeena Solar, Inc. (OTCBB:AKNS), a leading designer and installer of solar power systems, today announced it is moving into new corporate headquarters in Los Gatos, California, taking over a landmark 20,000-square-foot facility formerly occupied by one of Silicon Valley's oldest and largest automobile dealerships. $940,000 Grant from Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Approved for Middletown High School Fuel Cell Project
The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF), a ratepayer fund administered by Connecticut Innovations Inc. (CI), today announced that the Connecticut Clean Energy Investment Committee has approved a grant of $940,000 to help defray more than half of the total project cost of installing a 200-kilowatt fuel cell at the new Middletown High School, currently under construction in Middletown, Connecticut. CCEF's funding will be provided through its On-site Renewable Distributed Generation (DG) Program.
