BP Solar Provides Dealer Training Classes to Arizona Solar Businesses
BP Solar will hold a training session June 11-13 in Sedona for solar dealers and installers interested in selling their BP Solar Home Solutions® systems to home owners in Arizona. The training will focus on four key areas: installation excellence and safety; maximizing system energy production; hands-on roof installation; and in-depth product knowledge.

Schwarzenegger Signs Legislation Fixing CSI "Flaw"
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today signed AB 1714, which is designed to fix an unintended flaw in legislation passed last year hindering the California Solar Initiative (CSI). The program, administered by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), has been touted as the best in the country. But issues with Time of Use (TOU) rates have slowed applications for residential solar systems significantly.

Grant of up to $722,000 from Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Approved for Solar PV Installation at General Electric's Fairfield Headquarters
The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF), a ratepayer fund administered by Connecticut Innovations Inc. (CI), today announced that the Connecticut Clean Energy Investment Committee has approved a grant of up to $722,000 to help defray a portion of the total project cost of installing a 168-kilowatt DC solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the headquarters facility of General Electric Company (GE) in Fairfield, Connecticut. CCEF's funding will be provided through its On-Site Renewable Distributed Generation (DG) Program.

SPG Solar Honored with Sustainable 6 Award
Assemblymember Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) announced the Sustainable 6 Award to SPG Solar of San Rafael for their work in the design and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for homes, businesses, and large-scale commercial and government facilities. SPG Solar's President and CEO, Dan Thompson, accepted the award on the companies' behalf.
