SunTechnics Energy Systems Inc. has signed a contract with California's South San Joaquin Irrigation District (SSIJD) to engineer, procure and construct a 1.9-megawatt (MW) single-axis solar-tracking system to provide electricity to the DeGroot Water Treatment Plant.
